This book was very descriptive and went over some topics not many people are comfortable about. Overall, did you enjoy the book and feel comfortable enough with it that you would suggest it to a friend?

This book was a tell all book. For Kirk to open his doors to millions of people, how do you think he felt? What about his parents after reading this? How do you feel?

Parents View of Homosexuality

Kirk's father didn't agree with him being gay. His mother always stood by him and yelled at his father when he made comments. How do you think your parents would feel if you or your siblings were homosexual?

Romantic or Disturbing?

Throughout the book so far we have gotten a lot of detail about Kirk's life. How did you react to reading some of the scenes, for example, the chapter, Sex on a School Night? Do you think you would have different feelings if the scene was between a man and a woman?

The book mentions the word "fag" a lot. In terms of the book and in daily life today, how do you feel about the word?
